Hugo kan zich niets herinneren van wat er gebeurd is, waar hij zeker van is, is dat hij niet degene was die die man vermoordde, maar iedereen die hem erin wil luizen om een of andere reden.
Voor deze misdaad, en bij afwezigheid van andere verdachten en bewijs, gevangen Hugo voor 15 jaar in de gevangenis, zonder dat hij in staat om iets anders te doen.
Zeven jaar later wordt ze in de gevangenis bezocht door een veelbelovende advocaat die deel uitmaakt van een gerenommeerd advocatenkantoor. Triana genaamd, ze legt uit dat ze hem daar weg kon krijgen en proberen licht te werpen op die misdaad, zodat hij permanent kan worden vrijgelaten.
